Laws, Regulations, and Basic Principles

Official examination name: Laws, Regulations, and Basic Principles of Safe and Effective Pesticide Use. PSI lists 120 minutes for a QAC and 140 minutes for a QAL. The passing score is 70%. The examination is given in English. PSI does not publish the number of questions. Category B questions are not used here.

The separate Laws, Regulations, and Basic Principles examination. DPR’s full name is Laws, Regulations, and Basic Principles of Safe and Effective Pesticide Use. It is not the Category B landscape examination.

360 published questions in English. QAL and QAC are different credentials. You choose a goal in your account; questions can apply to QAL, QAC, or both.
